Yesterday, was a day that I will remember for the rest of my life. Fry Orthodontic Specialists was honored to have Lt. Col. Richard Graham come to the office and present us with a US flag that flew over Afghanistan.
As many of you know, in our offices in Overland Park, Olathe, Blue Valley, and Prairie Village we have been having our patients send letters of thanks and encouragement to our soldiers overseas for 2 years. We believe that this is a small way that we can show our support to the brave men and women in uniform who put their lives at risk for our freedom. Never would I have anticipated a thanks from the military, but yesterday’s event could have never been dreamt.
We received a phone call from Lt. Col. Graham’s wife telling us that he and their entire family wanted to stop by the office and present us with a flag. We were shocked and completely honored! Lt. Col. and his family came by on the day before he was deployed back to Afghanistan, to say thanks. The thanks goes to our Fry Ortho community that has been awesome in providing letters for these special people.
Though the thanks was from Lt. Col. Graham to us, the true thanks goes to the military and their families who sacrifice so much every day so we can live the lives we live.
