Without wearing retainers, teeth will naturally shift over time. With your investment in orthodontic treatment, we always include one set of retainers to ensure your teeth stay in place after the braces or Invisalign treatments are complete.
Retainers don’t last forever. They stretch, get lost, and broken. Replacement retainers can be very costly. Our Digital Retainer Guarantee allows you to get retainers replaced at any time with no appointments necessary! With a one-time activation fee of $795, you can order replacement retainers any time you need them for just $25 per retainer.
What to Expect
Our Digital Retainer Guarantee (DRG) program allows you to receive a one-time digital scan two weeks prior to the completion of your braces or Invisalign treatment and two 3D printed retainers that are customized to fit your smile. We store your digital impressions on the cloud, so it is available for reference whenever you need a retainer replacement, saving you an extra trip into the office. These retainers are custom-made by Invisalign and their patented plastic technology. They are thin, transparent plastic, designed to fit precisely over your teeth for enhanced comfort, durability, and convenience of removability. Digital retainers made by Invisalign are 30% stronger and twice as durable as traditional retainer plastic.
You will receive two Invisalign retainers at the end of treatment. If you need a replacement, simply call our office and make payment over the phone. The replacement retainers will be shipped directly to your home for no additional cost.
Unfortunately, insurance benefits will not cover our DRG program.
All patients that have had Orthodontic treatment with our office are eligible for this program. Patients who did not have orthodontic treatment with us, but are wanting retainers, will also be eligible.
All patients need retainers to prevent movement following orthodontics. This program offers 3D digital technology unparalleled with traditional dental materials. The 3D scan avoids the traditional impressions and is more comfortable and quicker than the traditional option. The cost of the traditional option would be more expensive after only one extra set of retainers, and most patients require more than one extra set of retainers over a 5-year period.
Our Digital Retainer Guarantee is non-refundable. It’s important for a patient to be aware of when their 5-year plan expires. For example, if you signed our Digital Retainer Guarantee Contract on 1/1/24, the warranty would expire on 1/1/29. After the warranty is up, all patients will have the opportunity to reevaluate their retainer program with our office.
Yes. This cost can be added to the patient’s financial agreement at the beginning of treatment and will allow the program to be included in the orthodontic monthly payments. If the patient is done with treatment and decides to sign up for the Digital Retainer Guarantee, they can put $195 down and make 6 monthly payments.
Please be aware that all retainers that must be sent out to a lab will have additional fees and are not included in our Digital Retainer Guarantee.
