If we can tell you just one thing about Dr. Adam Martin it is this: he got his braces on at age 15 and knew from that moment that he wanted to be an orthodontist!
Dr. Martin was recruited from his solo practice to join the Fry Orthodontic Team in 2015. He has been in practice since 2005. He loves being a part of the Fry Team and is excited to meet you and be a part of creating your smile for a lifetime. He is also fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Martin is married to his sweetheart Kara. They have two very active young boys. When not in the office he stays busy trying to tire them out at all our great kid museums around the metro (Science City is a favorite)! Dr. Martin is an avid downhill skier and loves tennis, golf and biking.
In clinical dentistry and academics Dr. Martin excelled. He finished undergraduate work at BYU in just 3 years and then went to San Antonio for Dental School in 1999. After graduating Summa Cum Laude with his DDS in 2003, he attended the Baylor College of Dentistry (Dallas, TX) for specialty training in orthodontics. He received an MS in Orthodontics in 2005. For his master’s thesis, Dr. Martin created a survey on smile attractiveness and delved into the research on the beauty of the smile. He continues to stay up with the latest research on smile attractiveness.
“I have the greatest job in the world and love being in Kansas City. The team at Fry Orthodontics works harder than any other orthodontic practice to create the beautiful smile you want and provides amazing customer care, too. Make yourself at home here and I look forward to seeing you soon.”
