Dr. Lyndzie Brace grew up in Sedalia, Missouri, just an hour and a half from Kansas City. Her journey into orthodontics began at the University of Missouri in Columbia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in both Biology and Psychology. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry.
While at UMKC, Dr. Brace was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, Rho Chapter, and was selected for the highly competitive Orthodontic Honors Program, a reflection of her academic excellence and commitment to patient care.
She continued her education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in Lincoln, where she earned a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics along with a Master of Science in Oral Biology. During her residency, she conducted research focused on the biomechanics of a tip-back bend archwire.
Dr. Brace is passionate about creating confident, healthy smiles in a supportive, patient-centered environment. She is excited to bring her clinical expertise and personal warmth to our Northland orthodontic practice.
Outside of the office, Dr. Brace is happily married to her husband Derek, and together they enjoy spending time outdoors with their energetic black lab-border collie mix, Mac. In her free time, she loves staying active, traveling, and discovering new coffee shops and restaurants. Most of all, she treasures quality time with family, friends, and loved ones.
If you had a great experience in our office, we would love to hear about it!
